Daniel is a founding Partner at Estrin Saul Lawyers and a highly experienced immigration lawyer with extensive expertise in all areas of Australian immigration law. Having worked across both government and private sectors, Daniel brings a unique perspective to his work, combining a deep understanding of departmental processes with a practical knowledge of the immigration needs of private clients and businesses.

Daniel’s career includes several years as a decision maker for the Department of Immigration and the Australian Embassy in Germany, where he gained first-hand insight into the complexities of the Australian immigration system. Following this, Daniel joined the Immigration Law team at the Australian Government Solicitor, where he handled complex immigration matters on behalf of the Commonwealth.

Armed with this government experience, Daniel went on to work as an Associate at a global immigration firm, where he assisted individuals and businesses with a broad range of immigration challenges. His diverse experience enables him to provide tailored, expert advice that balances legal precision with practical solutions for clients.

Daniel has extensive experience representing clients before merits review Tribunals and also the Federal Courts, where his meticulous preparation and advocacy skills contribute to achieving successful outcomes. His goal is to simplify the complex immigration process, guiding clients with clarity and confidence to achieve their migration objectives.

Daniel’s contributions to the legal profession have been recognised through several prestigious awards. He was a finalist in the 2020 Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards and, in 2021, he was honoured with a 40under40 Award, recognising his leadership and impact in the legal profession.
