Dr Jan Gothard is a Registered Migration Agent and one of Australia’s leading specialists in visa health and disability matters. With a PhD and an extensive research background, Jan has published widely in the area of migration and disability and has been a tireless advocate for individuals and families navigating complex health-related migration issues.

As a Registered Migration Agent (RMA), Jan provides expert advice on Australia’s visa health requirements and regularly advises lawyers and RMAs on complex health and disability-related visa matters. Her depth of knowledge and extensive experience make her a sought-after educator and mentor, and she is frequently invited to deliver training sessions and professional development seminars to colleagues across the migration profession.

Over the past decade, Jan has been involved in several high-profile disability cases, advocating on behalf of the Down Syndrome Association of Australia. She is also a founding member of Welcoming Disability, a national advocacy group working to eliminate disability discrimination within Australia’s migration program.

Jan is a leading voice for migration reform in the health and disability space.
